My name is Tjeerd Kole and starting from 26th of May, I will be supporting the Geboortecentrum Zaanstad team with great pleasure and enthusiasm as a observer during Ismay’s maternity leave, holiday periods, training of other team members and/or during illnes or other absence. During the last part of my Midwifery education in Amsterdam, I got to know Geboortecentrum Zaanstad and because of the good connection with the clients and the team, I am more than happy to work here. Born and raised in Amsterdam, I quickly knew that midwifery would be the profession for me. The personal contact, the trust in nature and the fact that no day is the same gives me energy every day. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Every week I’ll be working one day in consultation hours and one or two days as midwife on duty.
